Weather girl again...

Winter's on it's way out. It's
sooo last season.

(You have to admit it ~ you're being given the shove!)

Now it's time to lust after the blossoms...

And get messy eating watermelon.

Maybe do something CRAZY and out of character.
(Just blame the weather!!!)

Strip off!

Oraganise a warm weather photo shoot...

Lick up an ice cream.
Have a lavish picnic that lasts all day!

Be a dare devil!

And practice some crazy beach dancing!

Oh...the possibilities are simply DAZZLING!!!

Recently...

Guessing whether the snow is going to go or stay...
Getting my cuticles up to scratch in
anticipation of summer...

Reading in bed (mostly Ruth Rendell ha ha!)

Drinking Earl Grey and eating Nutella Sandwiches
~winning combo!

Fantasising about my next Christmas outfit
Thinking about sandy nose rubs.

Laughing ~ because Tomek makes me.

Snuggling on the couch to stave off the winter glums

Catching up on old classics...

Looking at other people's photos of summer in Australia

What about YOU?

Handbag know-what

  'Stuck on You'
If she can’t be bothered carrying her own handbag…

Then don’t be surprised if she can’t be bothered
doing other things that involve using her hands.

'Fur Ever'
You might want to reconsider this coupling if
you a) have pets that will be under her
supervision or b) don't wish to endanger
your local wildlife population.

'Hurt'I can't quite put my finger on why this little pouch
screams "sharp objects and torture" but it does.
So if that's your game then maybe baby this is your lady!

'Hit Me Baby One More Time'
Conversely, this one yelps: I take it lying down, I'm a slave
(to fashion) and you can put me on a leash if you like.

'Baby Love'Maybe she wants a baby? If she doesn't then she
already has one and we all know where it is.
Turn around. Walk directly to a phone. Do not pass GO.
Do not collect $200. CALL CHILD SERVICES!

  'Word'
Admirably this one's owner takes recycling VERY
seriously. Let's not think about what happens
when she upgrades her fridge.

'Walk Away'
L
et's go underground?
I am the s***?
I want you to walk all over me?
Mixed messages are rarely successful,
especially when you throw poo in the mix.

'Clucky Thing - You Make My Heart Sing'
This one is also quite confusing:
Does toting this tote indicate a woman getting
'broody' and entering her nesting phase?
Or is she simply begging to get laid?

'Wanda'
Obviously someone who doesn’t trust her
housemates (domestic dead end from day one)
On a more positive note - anyone who can
keep a goldfish alive has talent.

'Destiny'
Your guess is as good as mine.

I'll have SUMMER with that thank you waiter!!

Is it so much to ask for a week on the beach on my bum in the sun?

If someone feels inclined to kidnap me in the night and dump me on a tropical island just to thaw out for a few days... I'd be much obliged!

Imma order me some skimpy impractical beach attire now.

Please can I have lolita sunglasses too...

Bring Vegemite to the table.

And see to it that I have a party outfit.

Dessert!

Transport around the island is a must...

As is my masseuse/bodyguard.

SO ready it's not funny!

Happy Anniversary!

Happy three year anniversary to me and Tomek for yesterday. Wow - we survived. And neither of us is missing any limbs (to my knowledge!) This makes me super duper happy ;)

Story Time

When I was a kid (ok, and well into my teens) our parents read us a lot of books. This is one of the things I look forward to most about having babies of my own. There were so many incredible stories, a lot of them with fantastic illustrations.

Here are just a few of my personal favorites...what are yours?

My absolute favorite: The Finn Family Moomintroll books.

I had to post two pics they're so fabulous.

Anything and EVERYTHING by Roald Dahl...

I mean who can say no especially when they're illustrated by Quentin Blake???

My addiction to Enid Blyton books didn't stop at The Faraway Tree. Hey - she wrote alot!

Narnia Narnia Narnia and all the wonderful illustrations I remember well.

Charlotte's Web. Teary teary times...

Five Children and It...Very weird. Very awesome.

Loved these books!

I wanted a babysitter like Mr. Pudgins so badly!

A wonderful rolliking adventure story that Steiner kids get read.
